RMCA and American Airlines Team Up in Dallas

The RMCA team has recently been awarded a contract to assist in the tenant coordination process as part of the Dallas Fort/Worth (DFW) Airport's Terminal Renewal and Improvement Program (TRIP). The TRIP Program involves the modernization of the four original Terminals at DFW International Airport. Our team, being headed by Tom Coyne, has been assigned to assist American Airlines in Terminal B and several of the spoke carriers in Terminal E. “RMCA is proud to be a part of such a significant program with DFW Airport. We plan to utilize our customer service skills as well as our project management expertise to ensure this project is a success,” said Tom Coyne, Airline Technical Support Manager. This project officially kicked off in November 2010, and is scheduled to be completed over the next several years.

CARE Plus, LLC In Action…

CARE+

On January 1, 2011, as promised the CARE Plus LLC team, led by R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. kicked off a seamless transition serving as Owner’s Representative for the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) Capital Improvement Program. With our dedication and experience in this role, we are continuing to deliver quality customer service while maintaining the standard of operations at both O’Hare and Midway. “We are very excited to have the opportunity to continue our role with the Department of Aviation. We look forward to taking on new challenges and celebrating new successes with the CDA in 2011 and beyond.” said Ray Chin, President of RMCA.

We are pleased to announce that Ray Chin, President of RMCA, was named a Life Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Congratulations Ray on such a notable and well deserved honor.

Two for Two

After many months of collaboration, performing and perseverance, the CARE, Plus (CARE+) team was selected to provide Owner’s Representation Services for the Chicago Department of Aviation’s Capital Improvement Programs at O’Hare and Midway International Airports. R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. is the majority partner in the CARE+ team.  "We’re excited and proud to have been selected. We look forward to working with our new partners and continue to making the best airports, even better," said Joe Dote, Senior Vice President, RMCA. "The efforts of our entire team made this opportunity possible."

The CARE+ partnership includes:

RMCA will also continue to provide Program Management Services for the most aggressive airport noise remediation program in the nation. RMCA is a subconsultant to Cotter Consulting who was chose to lead the Residential Sound Insulation Programs for O’Hare and Midway International Airports. RMCA Vice President, Arlene Williams and RMCA Senior Project Manager Bill Stephan will continue to lead the Program on behalf of the Cotter team.

R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc (RMCA) is pleased to announce the launch of our enhanced corporate Web site. As the nature of our business continues to evolve and our knowledge and experience becomes more and more diversified, RMCA strives to showcase our talent. This more user friendly site allows visitors to research our company through easy to navigate pages and links that highlight our philosophy, services, project experience, the RMCA team, as well as “What Makes us Different” in our industry.

Investing in our Emerging Leaders

As transportation continues to evolve so too must the people who work in this exciting industry. At RMCA, we understand this and invest in providing our staff with not only the technical skills but a comprehensive understanding of transportation. By participating in the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association (IRTBA), Emerging Leadership Program (ELP), RMCA is preparing our staff for the future.

The ELP provides its participants with an understanding of all aspects of the transportation industry, from contracting, to funding, advocacy, legal and insurance. RMCA Senior Project Manager, Steven Miskowciz, PE is participating in the 2009-2010 program year. The highlight of the program included a trip to our nation's capital where Steve met with our Illinois legislators to advocate for transportation funding.

RMCA Vice President, Eileen Chin graduated from the ELP Pilot Program and continues to work with the IRTBA to promote and shape programming for the ELP.
